Almost Family in Hillsboro is seeking a full-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. You will provide personal care and companionship to clients in the Columbia County, Oregon area.

The role offers $20-$22 per hour, paid biweekly, with benefits including paid time off, health coverage, development opportunities, and paid training. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable and has at least one year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more.
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs.
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping.
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities.
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands.

Compensation & Benefits
