Job summary

Almost Family in Forest Grove, Oregon is seeking a full-time Caregiver to support seniors and disabled individuals in their homes, delivering personal care and companionship with compassion and reliability.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility assistance, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, and documenting client needs; a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, meal prep).
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs.
• Establish a safe, supportive home environment for clients.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, chores).
• Escort clients to medical appointments and activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.

Job Summary

Almost Family - Forrest Grove is looking to hire a full-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and driven Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship services for our clients in the Forrest Grove, Oregon area.

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role pays between $20 - $22 per hour and paid biweekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
