Job summary

Comfort Keepers, serving Saint Joseph County, IN, is seeking reliable and caring individuals to provide in-home care for seniors in the South Bend, Granger, Mishawaka, Elkhart area and surrounding communities.

Benefits include flexible scheduling, paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a growing company. Prior care experience is helpful, but training is available for the right person. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Passion for caregiving and helping seniors.
• Willingness to be trained and grow in in-home care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Run errands and incidental transportation.
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer's care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation & proof of car insurance
• Prior experience preferred but not mandatory, we are willing to train the right person
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is a plus
• Team player who values friends and family
• Must be able to pass a national background check
