Job summary

Right at Home York in Gettysburg, PA is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors live safely at home. You’ll provide companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and personal care in a one-on-one home setting.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling with potential for full-time hours based on client demand. Paid training, mileage reimbursement, and recognition programs are included to support your growth and appreciated work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• CNA, HHA or PCA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Issue medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance such as helping with walking and transfers.
