Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Frederick, MD is seeking dedicated caregivers to support residents with daily routines, socialization and overall well-being. This full-time role includes a 3pm-11pm shift with opportunities for increased hours and experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to residents in daily routines, socialization and overall well-being.
• Build bonds through companionship with residents.
• Show patience, compassion and empathy in every engagement with residents and families.
• Assist residents in organizing their day and activities.
• Use Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents as needed.

Pay ranges from $17.50- $21.50/ hour, based on experience, with the opportunities for shift differentials on evening and overnight shifts.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregiver Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes.
• Compassion and patience in all personal interactions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Must be comfortable working in pet-friendly environment.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
