Almost Family - Southern Oregon is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist seniors and disabled individuals in their own homes in the Redmond area. This role offers part-time and full-time schedules with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and monitoring health. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year caregiving experience, background check, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience for seniors or disabled individuals.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, meal prep).
• Monitor clients' health and document needs.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, chores).
• Escort clients to medical appointments and activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.

Job Summary

Almost Family - Southern Oregon is looking to hire a part time/full-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and driven Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship services for our clients in the Redmond, Oregon area.

Compensation & Benefits

The Caregiver role pays between $21 - $22 per hour and paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, the Caregiver will enjoy a variety of benefits, including paid time off, healthcare benefits,development opportunities and paid training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more


• Monitor clients' health and document their needs


• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients


• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping


• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities


• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands

Requirements
