FT/Days

Thrive as a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) at REM West Virginia:

• Help individuals grow, learn, and live well, fostering meaningful relationships.
• Gain trust and ownership from leadership to do what’s right for participants.
• Assist participants with community integration and activities.
• Support developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Provide care for individuals with autism and other complex needs, including personal hygiene and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services or direct care preferred.

• Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance may be required.
