Job summary

Senior Helpers in the United States seeks experienced, dependable caregivers for in-home senior care. Immediate openings across ALL SHIFTS and weekends; you’ll provide personal care, companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience
• Professional or family caregiving experience accepted
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must have a valid driver’s license if transporting clients
• Must be willing to travel to Huntley, Algonquin, Cary, Elgin, South Elgin, and surrounding areas
• Must pass background screening
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (W-2 employees only)
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality care

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Escort clients to appointments and errands
• Assist with mobility and ensure home safety
• Follow individualized care plans and document care provided
• Observe, report, and communicate changes in client condition

• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Reliable transportation between client homes
