Job summary

Visiting Angels Bettendorf is hiring a Caregiver to support seniors in the Quad Cities area, including Eldridge. Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, with shifts in Full Time, Part Time, 8/12 hour options and PRN.

A valid Driver's License is required. The Bettendorf office serves Bettendorf, Eldridge, Davenport and surrounding communities, offering opportunities for growth through specialized training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Experience in home or elderly care preferred
• Ability to assist with mobility and everyday tasks
• Strong communication and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Provide transportation to appointments or accompany clients when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
