Job summary

Home Instead is seeking compassionate Care Pros to provide meaningful, hands-on support that helps older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

The right Care Pro will confidently provide personal care, support individuals living with dementia, and take initiative to maintain healthy routines and a high quality of life. Flexible schedule includes weekdays and weekends, with competitive pay and benefits such as health insurance, 401K match, vacation pay, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiver with a heart for elders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, comfortable living environment with light housekeeping and organization.
• Assist with personal cares, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Safely guide clients with transfers, mobility, and movement.
• Prepare balanced meals and snacks to support nutrition and hydration.
• Foster connections through conversation, companionship, and reassurance.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands; mileage reimbursed.
• Observe changes in condition and report to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete accurate documentation and share important updates promptly.

Job description

At Home Instead, we believe aging should be shaped by the individual, not defined by limitations. We're looking for compassionate Care Pros to provide meaningful, hands-on support that helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

The right Care Pro will be confident providing personal care, experienced supporting individuals living with dementia, and willing to take initiative to help clients maintain healthy routines and a high quality of life.

Pay

• Competitive Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour
• Weekend differential — $1/hour additional pay for eligible work between Friday at 10:00 PM and Sunday at 10:00 PM

Schedule

• 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Coverage needed 7 days a week
• Required to work 1 weekend day every other week
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required

What You'll Do

• Maintain a clean, comfortable living environment through light housekeeping, household organization, laundry, and routine household tasks.
• Assist with personal cares, including bathing, incontinence, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Safely guide and assist clients with transfers, mobility, and movement throughout the home.
• Prepare balanced meals and snacks that promote nutrition, hydration, and overall wellness.
• Foster meaningful connections through conversation, engagement, companionship, and emotional reassurance.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed,Mileage reimbursed to and from appointments/errands
• Observe and report changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns to help ensure continuity of care.
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate important updates in a timely manner.
