Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist with personal hygiene, support development goals like budgeting and nutrition, and help participants participate in their community and activities they love.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
  • Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
