Job summary

Visiting Angels Midtown Sacramento is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals in the local area. The role offers flexible scheduling, full-time or part-time options, and shifts of 8 or 10 hours to fit your availability.

Compensation starts at $19.00-$21.00 per hour with weekly pay, plus benefits after 90 days and opportunities for bonuses for referrals and overtime. A valid driver’s license and DMV clean record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in-home care experience
• Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the US
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with a shot record
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual/multilingual caregivers welcome
• Ability to use a smartphone for EVV and notes
• Pass extensive background checks including Live Scan
• TB screening within 90 days
• California Home Care Aide Registry registered
• Compassionate, flexible, and helpful attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home non-medical care ranging from companionship to personal care
• Assist clients to remain in their homes
• Coordinate with clients and families to ensure quality care
• Support clients with daily activities and mobility as needed

Jobs starting at $19.00-$21.00 an hour depending on availability and experience!!! We are seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers who are passionate about helping others to join our team of Angels.

We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals so they can remain in their homes. Our caregiver services range from simple companionship and personal care to more complex cases when care is needed for someone living with chronic disease, stroke, or recovering from surgery. Our office in Midtown Sacramento provides caregivers to the local area including and many others.

Visiting Angels works hard to match a Caregiver with clients who are compatible with their skill level and personality, and we schedule our caregivers for as many or as few hours as they desire. Our caregivers are recognized for their work regularly, and we offer shift bonuses for fill-in work.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience in-home care (professional or private)
• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills - bilingual and multilingual caregivers welcomed
• Must be able to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes
• Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry
• Be compassionate, understanding, flexible, and have a true desire to help others
