Job summary

Village Caregiving in Crossville, TN is seeking a CAREGIVER to join our in-home care team. You will provide direct patient care in the client’s home with a compassionate, dedicated approach.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing companionship, aiding mobility through safe transfers, recording care, and communicating with families. Shift options include day or afternoon, with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare in-home care experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check.

Job Summary:
Village Caregiving, a reputable in-home care company located in Crossville, Tennessee, is seeking a CAREGIVER to join our team. As a CAREGIVER,you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the patient's home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. This is an individual contributor role that requires a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated individual.

CAREGIVER Benefits:

• DAY/AFTERNOON SHIFT AVAILABLE (Mon-Fri)
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS AS NEEDED!!
• Pay Rate: $16-18/Hour
• Paid Training, including CPR Certification
• Ongoing Training Provided As Needed

CAREGIVER Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Help residents with mobility by transferring and positioning them safely
• Record and maintain accurate documentation of residents' care and daily activities
• Assist with feeding residents and providing hydration
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members

CAREGIVER Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in-home care experience
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Flexibility to work weekends & holidays as needed
• Must pass a background check
