Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville is seeking a caring, reliable Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home support to clients in Oldham County, Kentucky. You will work with a team to deliver personalized assistance, ensuring safety and comfort during daily activities.

This PRN role offers full-time or part-time availability Monday through Friday and weekends. A valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, clean background check, and ability to lift 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Job description

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver with Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville, you will be responsible for providing exceptional one-on-one care to clients in their homes and other locations. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with your team to ensure each client receives personalized support to meet their individual needs. You will have many opportunities to make a positive impact in client's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients, tailored to their specific needs.
2. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
3. Ensure clients receive medication reminders and other health-related support.
4. Transport clients to appointments or social activities and/or run errands as necessary.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
2. A clean background check
3. Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
5. Flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules and needs.
6. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English.

Excellent If You:

1. Have previous experience working as a caregiver for adults, CNA, DSP, SRNA or PCA.
2. Possess specialized training in areas such as dementia care, personal care or stroke recovery.
3. Can provide references that speak to your caregiving skills.

Employment Type & Availability:

This PRN position requires full time or part-time availability Monday through Friday and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only at individual adult client’s homes in Oldham County Kentucky
