Job summary

Sevita is seeking caregivers to join REM Community Services in Minnesota, providing community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers $16.00 per hour and a competitive benefits package.

You will assist with personal hygiene, support individuals with complex needs, and help participants pursue personal goals in a caring, team-focused environment. A high school diploma and a patient, compassionate attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants achieve development goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and encourage community participation.
• Maintain safety and report changes to supervisors.
