All of our clients live within Genesee County. No long drives to get to work!! You do NOT need a valid driver\'s license to work for us.

Responsibilities
- Remind clients to take medications
- Ensure clients safety during transfers
- Help with mobility, either in the home or outside and in the community (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, and help with physical therapy exercises (if applicable)
- Complete errands for client or accompany client to ensure safe completion of errands (grocery shopping, Rx pick-up, etc.)
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintenance of a safe environment for the client
- Report any unusual incidents and changes/declines in client\'s physical, cognitive, or emotional status
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Perform activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with planning and preparing their meals, including serving and/or feeding, if necessary
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in healthcare or in-home care environment
- Reliable transportation (Valid DL not necessary, but reliable transportation to & from every shift is a must)
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or Home Health Aide, or completion of a CNA Program
- Take pride in providing high quality care
- Hoyer Lift Experience a plus
