BrightStar Care of Lansing is looking for individuals with caregiver or home health aide experience providing care for older adults: aiding with hygiene, errands, and day-to-day assistance in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Assist clients with active and passive mobility as defined by the care plan, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Home Health Aide registration
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Mandatory free CEUs
• Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background check
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; able to lift up to 50 pounds
• While encouraged, COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory
