Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking caring, dependable individuals to provide non-medical in-home support to clients in Carson, CA.

As a Caregiver, you’ll help with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, enabling clients to remain safely at home. Flexible schedules, referral bonuses, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision benefits after eligibility, plus optional 401(k), training, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is a plus.
• CA Caregiver Registration (HCA) required or ability to obtain.
• TB test within last 90 days; AccentCare can assist with Live Scan.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care including personal care and homemaking.
• Assist clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Give medication reminders as needed.
• Support clients to remain safely at home.

• Minimal Personal Care Experience

$18.25-$19/ hr

• Moderate to Maximum Personal Care Experience
• Assistance with Dementia/ Alzheimer’s, Hospice, Progressive Diseases such as ALS, MS and Parkinson’s

• AccentCare will consider qualified applicants with criminal history in accordance with local ordinances
• As of April 3, 2023, the State of California and AccentCare will no longer require the COVID-19 vaccination for Care Partners.

• If not already obtained, AccentCare can help with the Live Scan!!
• TB test from the last 90 days; if you currently work with another in home agency listed on your HCA, we can accept results from the last 2 years.
• Pre-Hire Physical, AccentCare will take care of this for you.
