Job summary

CareBuilders at Home – Upper Darby PA is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide daily living assistance and companionship in clients' homes. You will help with activities of daily living, monitor wellbeing, and support independence with dignity.

No medical training required, but compassion, clear communication, and the ability to follow care plans are essential. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be needed; training and opportunities for career advancement are

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
