We provide programs across various locations and community-based settings, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans.

Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver - Bloomington, IL

Part-Time Overnights

10-hour shifts 11 PM to 9 AM

$16-$19/hr

Would you like to make a difference every day in someone’s life? In this role, you will carry out rewarding work and play a crucial role in our organization’s success.

• Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other areas in residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of experience in human services
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum age of 18
• Successful background checks
• Caring attitude, attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate approach
• Commitment to quality
