Job summary

Cascade Living Group in Bend, Oregon, is seeking compassionate caregivers for Memory Care. The role focuses on establishing relationships with residents, families and staff, assisting with life skills and activities, and implementing care plans tailored to each resident's strengths and routines.

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willing to work Saturdays or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Assist residents in life skills and activities per their profile.
• Implement residents’ care plans focusing on strengths and routines.
• Blend multisensory experiences into the resident’s day.
• Collaborate with the wellness team to address needs promptly.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.

Simply put, as a Caregiver in our Memory Care, you will:

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
• Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their profile
• Implement residents’ care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day
• Work with the wellness team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
