Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Care Provider for a full-time position at Ivy Park at Belmont in Belmont, CA. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, observing health changes, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Shifts are Sunday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities across Oakmont communities.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report observed changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
