Sevita is hiring as a caregiver in California, offering a pay rate of $17.11 per hour and a fixed Friday–Monday shift from 2 pm to 10 pm. A valid driver’s license and driving history are required, with eligibility based on documentation.

This is a driving, on-site role with full benefits for full-time staff and a robust support network within Sevita’s community-based services. You’ll help individuals with daily needs, foster independence, and support their participation in community activities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and take initiative to help them participate in the community.
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and supervisors to ensure safety and well-being.

Pay rate: $17.11 / hr

Union Dues: .5% per paycheck

Shift: Friday - Monday, 2 pm - 10 pm

Mandatory Requirement: This is a driving position. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to verify at least one year of active driving history. If the current license was issued less than one year ago, candidates must provide a motor vehicle record, previous license, or other acceptable documentation demonstrating continuous valid licensure for at least one year. Failure to provide such documentation will result in ineligibility for employment.
