Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Ann Arbor is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, personalized in-home care in Ann Arbor, MI. You’ll work with a dedicated team to support clients’ independence and quality of life, with responsibilities spanning daily living assistance, medication administration, and meaningful client interactions.

Flexible hours are available, including weekends and holidays. Prior experience and a caring, patient demeanor are valued as you help clients stay safe and comfortable

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ann Arbor, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that clients receive the support and assistance necessary to maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care services including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
2. Administer medications and maintain accurate records of client care.
3. Engage with clients through meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their well-being.
4. Assist with mobility and transfer tasks to ensure client safety and comfort.
5. Collaborate with the care team to ensure that each client’s unique needs and preferences are met.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in health or social care is a plus.
2. Experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to speak and write in English.
4. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Bonus If You:

1. Possess certification in CPR or First Aid.
2. Have experience working with elderly or disabled populations.
3. Are bilingual, with skills in additional languages.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability needed across all days of the week including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
