Job Summary

Griswold Home Care is looking for an experienced, full-time Caregiver to join our team at the Merrimack Valley franchise in Andover, Massachusetts. The Caregiver’s primary responsibilities will be to provide loving and compassionate personal care and supportive services to clients, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs. The successful candidate will be a patient, team-player who can multi-task and has strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive wages and an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as vacation, sick, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalized care plans for clients according to their specific needs

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Monitor client's moods and report any changes to supervisor

• Keep records of client care, condition, progress, and concerns

• Follow prescribed health and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized client space

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience providing care to seniors or people with disabilities

• CPR certification (or willing to obtain certification)

• Ability to assume an active role in maintaining client safety

• Previous experience operating mobil lifts and other assistive technologies

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings and weekends

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check
