Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Alexandria, VA is seeking Caregivers who provide hands-on support while building meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with daily living activities, follow ISPs, and promote safety and independence in a caring environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication with residents, families, and care teams, including those in Memory Care, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
