This position is required to report the address listed for the first 30 days of employment and at least three(3) days per week with flexible and hybrid workplace options available but will still be required to report to the listed address at the discretion of the supervisor and based on business need.

Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium exists to ensure every Colorado business has access to a skilled workforce and every Coloradan has access to meaningful employment, resulting in statewide economic vitality- this is accomplished by planning, budgeting, and implementing the programs funded under the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA), Wagner-Peyser, Trade Adjustment Act (TAA), and grants in the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium (CRWC). This work unit provides employment services including labor exchange; and referral of applicants to job openings and placement assistance and addresses employability barriers and delivers quality candidate service to program candidates, businesses, and the community. The unit fosters partnerships with educational institutions and other community organizations to provide a network of support services to ensure Colorado has a qualified and relevant workforce.
The person in this position spends their time fostering business-focused workforce partnerships, effectively preparing rural Coloradans for the jobs of today and tomorrow by delivering a comprehensive array of employment and training services. The person works with job-seeking candidates to enhance their employability and achieve their employment goals, and provides employment services to program candidates, businesses, and the community. In addition, this position exists to provide career counseling, and identify and assist program candidates in eliminating barriers to employment and/or post-secondary education. Position interprets federal and state program guidelines, and procedures.
