The Emerging Educators Pathway at Armed Services YMCA Norfolk is a six-week program designed for individuals with little or no experience in Early Childhood Education. Our learning environment at the Armed Services YMCA Norfolk Child Development Center will expose pathway participants to developmentally appropriate practices, ensuring the ability to experience how Armed Services YMCA provides for the education, well-being, and safety of each child and staff, and offers resources and support to families.
