Job summary

Pharcophar is seeking a Material Planning Engineer to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies while maintaining optimal inventory and compliance with GMP requirements.

You will develop material plans, monitor stock levels, and collaborate with Procurement, Production, QA, and Warehouse to support uninterrupted manufacturing. Proficiency with SAP ERP is preferred; a related bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of planning experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of Material Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Planning experience in pharma or FMCG.
• Experience using SAP ERP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material requirement plans based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain target stock coverage.
• Generate purchase requisitions for required materials.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure on-time material availability.
• Track supplier delivery performance and follow up on delayed orders.
• Review material shortages and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, QA, and Procurement to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Maintain planning parameters, master data, and planning reports in ERP/SAP.
• Analyze inventory performance and identify slow-moving or excess materials.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and company policies.
