Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university curriculum.
• Knowledge of highway design features and standards is required.
• Experience with CADD and related engineering software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design projects including bridge replacements and resurfacing; prepare reports and environmental statements.
• Determine highway design features, geometrics, earthwork, signals and drainage using CADD and design software.
• Assist in development and review of detailed plans for complex projects (interchanges, urban, or major bridges).
• Compute quantities and costs for projects at all stages to aid short‑ and long‑term planning.
