As part of the MHG Girls Competitive Team Program, you would be responsible for developing and training athletes for the competition season. Strong technical and spotting skills are a must. You must also possess the ability to teach progressions and spot new skills and be a positive role model for the gymnasts at MHG. We provide ongoing education as well as the opportunity for advancement. Mini-Hops is a non-profit organization located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis in a 48,000 sq. ft. facility. Our girls’ pre-competitive, DP and Xcel team is 175 members strong, ranging in age from 5 to 18. With 1,500 total enrollments through recreational, teams and Academic Preschool, we are one of the largest and most state-of-the-art facilities in the region.
Schedule: Monday - Friday Evenings and Saturdays
This position includes travel to competitions on weekends (local and out of state). Competition sessions are paid separately and in addition to the yearly salary.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in coaching/teaching competitive Women’s gymnastics.
- Expertise in coaching/spotting all levels of gymnastics.
- Exceptional knowledge base of progressions and techniques for coaching/teaching gymnastics.
- Ability to adapt and change to meet the needs of the athletes and co-workers.
- Ability to work as a group with experienced coaches in an effective and collaborative way.
- A willingness to learn, grow and adapt to meet the needs of the program.
