Job summary

Solvus Global, LLC is seeking a hands-on People Operations Manager to lead the core systems for recruiting, development, retention, and advancement. You will partner with the HR Manager and Talent Development Lead to drive candidate experience, career-pathing, and timely promotion cycles while building trust across teams.

You will manage onboarding, growth conversations, and performance processes, leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and data-driven insights for leadership.

As the Career Growth Partner, you will serve as a hands-on People Operations Manager responsible for driving the core systems that recruit, develop, retain, and advance our workforce. Operating as a cohesive unit alongside our HR Manager under the direction of the Talent Development Lead, you will own the day-to-day operations of candidate experience, career pathing, promotion cycle execution, and foundational learning builds. Your core objective is to build trust across all levels of the organization, understanding each team member’s career ambitions, maintaining active growth documentation, and running our promotion cycles on time, every time.

Core Responsibilities

• Career Pathing & Growth Conversations: Facilitate regular growth conversations across staff, maintain individual career-path documentation, and serve as a neutral, trusted partner for internal mobility and career exploration.
• Promotion Cycle Operations: Project-manage the end-to-end promotion cycle across all sprints—handling intake compliance, quality-checking peer evaluation write-ups, scheduling calibration sessions, and delivering outcome packets.
• Talent Acquisition Execution: Support recruiting sourcing, phone screening, hiring- manager intake, role scoping, and candidate scheduling while ensuring data hygiene across our ATS and recruitment channels.
• Onboarding Experience: Design and maintain discipline-specific ramp plans, track 30- Day Success Blueprints, and run structured 30/60/90-day check-ins to ensure seamless new-hire integration.
• Learning & Continuous Improvement: Analyze patterns from growth conversations to feed training needs analysis, co-build core training content with leadership, and leverage digital tools to continually refine People Ops processes.

Required Attributes & Skills

• Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15.
• 3–5+ years in a People Operations Manager, HR Generalist/BP, Recruiting Execution, or Talent Development role
• Exceptional active listening and conversational skills, with a proven ability to act as a neutral, confidential advisor across technical and operational teams
• Demonstrated track record of managing structured, recurring people-processes (such as promotion or performance review cycles) end-to-end with high operational precision
• Ability to analyze qualitative conversation patterns and summarize data into actionable insights for team leadership
• Hands-on experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) with the ability to modernize, digitalize, and improve candidate application pipelines
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance personal productivity, automate administrative workflows, and refine operational processes
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or equivalent practical operational experience

Advantageous Attributes & Skills

• Working familiarity with multi-state employment environments and job-posting pay transparency compliance (particularly MA guidelines)
• Experience operating within fast-paced engineering, manufacturing, research, or technology spin-out environments
• Practical exposure to state workforce training grants (e.g., MA WTFP Express reimbursement) or apprenticeship tax credit programs
• Formal certification in coaching, facilitation, or organizational development

Location: Hybrid (Leominster or Worcester, MA)

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 / year
