Job summary

Valtir LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Career Equipment Operator to support our manufacturing facility. You will set up and operate production machines, read blueprints, adjust settings, and transfer materials to storage areas.

This full-time role offers a starting rate of $19 per hour and regular M-F hours from 5am to 1:30pm. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, read blueprints, and can operate multiple machine types with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to operate three of the following equipment types: press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press or roller.
• Ability to understand the technical aspects of the job.
• Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures.
• Ability to measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints.
• Lay-up sequence and/or templates.
• Read blueprints, adjust for thickness, and shape of materials and make appropriate settings.
• Load material for processing, verify dimensional requirements.
• Unload and may transfer materials to storage areas.
• May use overhead cranes or forklift.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As an Equipment Operator at Valtir, you’ll set up and operate machines and may utilize blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Starting rate $19 per hour

Full-time: M-F, 5am-1:30pm
