Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking a career development professional to empower employees across the organization. You will design and deliver career development workshops, maintain career pathways, and connect staff with educational resources.

Collaborating with leaders and HR partners, you will help identify internal mobility opportunities, track metrics, analyze trends, and promote career resources to increase utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• Minimum 3 years in career counseling, workforce development, or related HR/L&D roles.
• Certification in career coaching or counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career counseling to employees at all levels.
• Design and deliver career development workshops and resources.
• Maintain and update career pathways aligned with organizational needs and provide a connection to educational resources.
• Collaborate with leaders and HR partners to identify internal mobility opportunities.
• Support talent pipeline initiatives (High school and internal).
• Track career development metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
• Analyze trends to recommend improvements in career programs.
• Promote career resources and tools to increase utilization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on career development best practices.
