Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Operations Leader Trainee in New York for a 12–18 month Career Development Program. You will rotate through the branch, with on‑the‑job training to learn systems and processes, and partner with your manager to develop leadership skills.

You’ll participate in leadership development, operations and systems training, and receive a tailored curriculum with a capstone project working with senior leadership on meaningful business impact.

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications described in the job ad: willing to relocate after program, start window between March and June, energetic, professional and goal‑oriented attitude, strong operations focus, ability to partner with customers and lead or build a team, strong communication with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Rotational assignments across branch business with on‑the‑job training to learn systems and processes.

As an Operations Leader Trainee in White Cap’s Career Development Program, you will have the opportunity to engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, leadership development, and partner with your manager to develop the skills and knowledge that will accelerate your career through a 12–18 month training program. Throughout the program, you’ll learn everything from the warehouse, where it all begins, to customer service, management, and beyond.
