Job description

The Institute of Beauty and Wellness is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work in the heart of Milwaukee's Third Ward, where you will be the face of our school. Here you will connect with prospective students around enrollment and career placement. Engagement throughout their program will bring inspiration and empowerment for students as they find their career placement in the beauty and wellness industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and assist students with their admission into the Institute of Beauty and Wellness
  • Connect and build relationships with the students and the team at IBW
  • Help students and alumni with career placement opportunities
  • Post engaging content on social media that showcases the IBW culture and community
  • Utilize platforms such as HubSpot, Sakari and other platforms to support admissions and engagement
  • Plan and organize events for the institute
  • Interact daily on social media to connect with current and prospective students
  • Complete student interviews and provide follow up within 24 hours of meeting
  • Collect statistical data required by NAACAS and Aveda
  • Support administrative tasks as need
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

  • Admissions experience
  • Strong experience with social media content creation and engagement
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills
  • Adoration for the beauty and wellness industry

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays and evenings
