Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with social services coursework and at least one year of counseling experience; Job Corps experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours of social services-related instruction.
• One year of experience in a counseling capacity or related field.
• Job Corps experience preferred.
• Valid State driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and abides by Aleut Core Values and operating principles.
• Actively collaborates with all other departments to best meet the needs of each student.
• Continuously assesses and evaluates students on formal and informal levels and assists with education and training transitions.
• Submit written student reports/evaluations and referrals to outside agencies.
• Co-facilitates small group employability skills sessions and collaborates with residential staff.
