Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience connecting people to jobs.
• Experience in social services or workforce programs is desirable.
• Ability to build strong employer relationships and turn them into job opportunities.
• Strong coaching, motivating, and communication skills with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized employment support including résumé writing, interview coaching, and job application assistance.
• Develop job opportunities by building relationships with employers, staffing agencies, and workforce partners.
• Match clients to appropriate job openings and support them through the hiring process.
• Connect clients to vocational training, education programs, and career advancement opportunities.
• Facilitate job readiness workshops, computer skills training, and financial literacy sessions.
• Plan and support hiring events such as job fairs and recruitment drives.
• Track and document client progress in employment and income-building activities.
• Collaborate with Case Managers, Housing staff, and other service providers to align employment goals with housing stability.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to engage clients.
