Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Arkansas is seeking a full-time, ten-month instructor to coordinate and implement Career Education, WAGE and IET services for adult learners. This grant-funded role reports to the Dean of Adult Education and requires collaboration with workforce partners.

You will plan and deliver instruction, support student success, develop individualized learning plans, and participate in program activities and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for teaching position.
• Must hold a current Arkansas Teaching License.
• Must obtain CSP Certification within one year of hire.
• Must obtain Arkansas Adult Education Teaching Endorsement within three years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Career Education/WAGE and IET Services.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate career education instruction and professional development.
• Provide guidance and direction to students and assist with employment goals and transition opportunities.
• Coordinate services with the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services and other WIOA partners.
• Administer, score, and interpret student assessments; maintain accurate records.
