Job summary

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOM seeks a Career Mentoring Specialist to plan, coordinate, and monitor LIFE’s Career Café services with project partners, ensuring alignment with outcomes. You will oversee project management, participant management, and development of high-quality career exploration resources supporting mentoring services.

The incumbent will communicate with and travel to partner sites to host and facilitate events, with a hybrid work schedule after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field.
• 48 months of experience in education, social work, or counseling.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, and deliver Career Café and mentoring opportunities for cohort students.
• Coordinate internal and external communications and promote events.
• Travel to partner sites to host and facilitate events.
• Support project management, participant management, and development of career resources.
