Job summary

Brandywine School District in Concord High School seeks a TSA advisor to train and supervise students for competitive events after school. You will coordinate registrations, transportation, and chaperone arrangements throughout the year.

The role requires regular student meetings, building membership, and ensuring preparation for state and national conferences, with travel as needed. This is a casual/seasonal assignment reporting to the building principal.

Qualifications

• Appropriate certification and skill in all areas of certification.
• Ability to train and assist students in preparation for competitive events.
• Good organizational/leadership skills.
• Ability to work within a budget.
• Meets established deadlines.
• Availability to travel with students.

Responsibilities

• Must hold regular student meetings after school hours (1 per month – minimum).
• Must have a minimum membership of 10 students.
• Provide time and supervision as needed for students to prepare for competitive events – individual or group competitions.
• Prepare and submit required registrations (i.e., dues, transportation, parental permission, registration, hotel accommodations, etc.) as needed throughout the school year – including funding requests.
• Accompany students to at least 1 state conference per year (Leadership – fall, State Competition – spring).
• Accompany or arrange for chaperone to accompany students qualifying for national conference.
