This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Tomoka Correctional Institution in the Education Department. This position is for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching position in Masonry.
The Education Department provides comprehensive educational programs and services to inmates. Our goal is to enhance inmates' academic, vocational, and life skills, thereby promoting personal development and successful reintegration into society. By offering quality education and training, we aim to reduce recidivism and support inmates in becoming productive, law-abiding citizens.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for teaching the assigned career and technical subject(s) to students at a correctional institution/facility. Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
