Position Summary

The Career and Success Coach supports MSG participants in reaching their training, employment,and career advancement goals through individualized coaching and career readiness education.This role conducts one-on-one career coaching sessions to assess participant goals, identifyobstacles, and provide personalized support throughout the training and employment journey. This coach assists participants at both the Parent Resource Center (PRC) in North Tulsa and MSG’s main office. Inaddition to coaching, the Student Success Coach develops and facilitates career readinessworkshops. The position also delivers internal workshops to support staffdevelopment. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, organized, and passionateabout helping individuals build meaningful, sustainable careers.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

Intake and Career Workshops

  • Lead and facilitate orientations to introduce individuals to available services and training opportunities.
  • Register individuals for career readiness workshops.
  • Deliver career workshops across multiple MSG programs at both the main office and PRC location, including resume writing, interviewing skills, and more.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to assess customers’ employment history, education, and goals, and refer them to internal programs, training, or support services.
  • Conduct outreach (phone, email, and or text) to engage applicants about services available.

Individualized Career Coaching

  • Provide one-on-one coaching to support participants in setting career and education goals and advancing their careers.
  • Advise individuals on educational and vocational opportunities and refer them to appropriate training, support services, or community resources.
  • Conduct follow-ups to assess progress and ensure participant needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of coaching activities and outcomes.
  • Ensure individual progress, program goals, and workshop delivery are aligned with broader program goals and participant success metrics
  • Reporting & Collaboration
  • Accurately track and report participant progress, coaching activities, and cohort milestones in program databases
  • Monitor and report on training and employment outcomes to support program evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Attend community events and outreach activities to promote MSG’s workforce programs and engage North Tulsa residents.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous mentoring, coaching, or relatable experience
  • Schedule flexibility; occasional evening and weekend work required
  • Personal transportation that can be used throughout the workday
  • Comfortable conducting presentations in front of small groups or one-on-one settings
  • Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education; BA, or BS degree preferred
  • Skilled in planning, identifying priorities, and providing solutions
  • Desire to work as part of a team driven by data and results, dedicated to achieving positive outcomes while maintaining a positive atmosphere
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Drive, with the ability to adapt to new equipment and technology
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar software is preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time

This role will be on-site at the Parent Resource Center with shared time at the MSG main office in downtown Tulsa.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually, based on experience
