Qualifications

• One year of experience in employment, training programs, case management, career development activities, reentry services, or equivalent social service programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess participants' barriers to employment and arrange available area resources and supportive services as needed, including transportation, education, and emergency assistance.
• Create, update, and maintain accurate participant case notes and files.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $23.00 - $28.50 hourly

Full Pay Range: $23.00 - $34.00 hourly

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

The Workforce Development Division is part of the statewide workforce development network, ARIZONA@WORK. We provide services that benefit both employers and job seekers throughout Maricopa County. For our employment partners, we provide services such as recruiting, developing, and retaining the best employees for their needs. Our team provides job seekers with services and resources to pursue educational and employment opportunities. By developing our state's workforce and matching employers with job seekers, we strengthen Maricopa County's and Arizona's economy.

We Require

Other Requirements

• Must complete background check and fingerprint identification upon hire to successfully secure and maintain the Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
