Job summary

University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a dynamic Assistant Director, Career Advising & Programming to advance career development and programming for students. This internal promotional opportunity focuses on building cross-campus partnerships to deliver innovative, equitable services that enhance students’ professional success.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years in career services, including higher education experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 5 years’ experience in career services, with at least 2 in higher education.
Experience in career development, experiential education, student development, employer relations or talent acquisition.
Experience with program development and evaluation.
Experience with multi-disciplinary programming.
Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead career advising and related programming for students and campus partners.
Develop collaborative relationships to support innovative, equitable programs.
Support students’ professional success through individual, group, and workshop formats.
