Job summary

Texas Instruments is launching the Career Accelerator Program (CAP) for new graduates entering supply chain roles. You will participate in professional and technical training and gain hands-on experience across procurement, category management and supplier relationships.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, planning and engineering to optimize inventory, costs and supplier performance. The program emphasizes teamwork across functions, countries, and cultures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Strong communication skills across written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Address supplier management, identification, and selection, and monitor market trends.
• Coordinate purchasing with manufacturing, planning and engineering to acquire inventory and services cost-effectively.
• Process purchase requisitions, change orders and RFQs to suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major categories.
• Monitor cost, schedule and scope of contracts to negotiate best value.
• Develop new supply sources when suppliers are not competitive.
• Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analyses.
• Interact with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support audits related to procurement processes and supplier management.

Help power a stronger supply chain:

• Address all aspects of category management, including supplier management, supplier identification and selection, support category business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, business units, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory and services in a cost effective and timely manner
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major categories
• Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned contracts to negotiate the highest quality at best value
• Develop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive
• Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing
• Interact closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
• Support internal and external audits related to procurement processes and supplier management assessment, pricing, and product availability
