Responsibilities of Caregiver/Support Staff:

1. Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
2. Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning for safety and comfort.
3. Administer medications and assist with medication management under supervision.
4. Monitor health and report changes to staff.
5. Engage residents in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
6. Maintain a clean and organized environment.
7. Provide emotional support and companionship.

Requirements:

• Experience in caregiving or support roles is a plus.
• Training in Harm Reduction, Trauma, and De-escalation techniques preferred.
• Experience in environments like homeless shelters is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle challenging situations tactfully.
