Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a part-time Van Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and events. You will assist residents with boarding, ensure wheelchair securement, and report concerns to nursing staff.

Join our team across 40+ communities to provide compassionate, reliable transportation. Requires age 21+, valid Class D license, clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain. Part-time hours, including weekends, are available.

Qualificações

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License with Class D – Chauffeur Endorsement.
• Not more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 years.
• No previous driving while under the influence convictions.
• CPR and first aide certification or willingness to accomplish.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van, including wheelchair securement.
• Follow schedules and coordinate timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Observe residents during transport and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Complete incident reports and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle (fuel, fluids, basic supplies).
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service needs.
• Communicate daily with nursing and facility teams.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends.
