Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• CPR/First Aid, PASS training and Defensive Driving training available through the company.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Sky Heart Home Care Services in Concord, NC and surrounding areas is looking for a compassionate and dependable Care Transport Associate (Driver) to join our dedicated team. If you have a heart for service and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you! The Care Transport Associate plays a vital role in the success of Sky Heart Transport Services. This position is responsible for safely and respectfully transporting clients to and from healthcare appointments, therapy sessions, pharmacies, and community locations. Associates are the face of Sky Heart, providing comfort, patience, and professionalism during every ride.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, errands, and other destinations 50 miles or more

Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times

Communicate effectively with care coordinators regarding scheduling and client needs

Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate staff

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies

Provide courteous, patient-centered service to all clients and their families.

*The amount of money you make is based on your availability and available routes. You can travel as far as you want to go. You are paid based on each route complete with applicable client signatures. *

Requirements:

Valid driver's license (no major violations in the past 3 years)

MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Prior experience in a transportation role preferred, but not required.

Ability to assist clients with limited mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed

Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must pass a background check and drug screening

CPR/First Aid, PASS training and Defensive Driving training required (can take through the company)

Excellent communication, empathy, patience, and use of mobile technology.

Min availability of working 5 days per week.
