Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in patient care and nursing assistant duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and doctors in patient care and support care delivery.
• Provide age-appropriate care and clear explanations to patients and families.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication with patients and staff.
• Collect specimens as part of routine procedures and maintain proper labeling.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the unit and equipment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs.
• Assist with transfer, discharge, and patient mobility under RN oversight.
